Jumps West Will Build Unique Breyer Designed Jumps for Children
At the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, children will be jumping for joy over the most imaginative jumps for juniors ever created through a unique partnership with Breyer Animal Creations®, makers of the world's finest model horses and Jumps West, a premier manufacturer of jumps, with the largest selection in North America.
"At BreyerFest, children spend hours building and leaping over mini-courses," said Stephanie Macejko, Breyer's Vice President of Marketing and Product Development. "We wanted to give them a similar experience at the Breyer Pony Paddock at the 2010 Games. We designed a course of six unique jumps and have partnered with Jumps West to bring it to life. We're excited to introduce children to their first jumping course! Who knows where it can lead!"
Six fences in all will be built by Jumps West for Breyer . The fences were designed by Breyer to represent a wide variety of famous equine themes including: the 2010 Games, Breyer's 60th Anniversary, Big Lex, the official horse of Lexington, Kentucky Thoroughbred racing, the World of Breyer and America's Wild Horses.

Continuing our effort to offer a comprehensive set of value added, quality products and services, Jumps West is proud to announce partnerships with leading manufacturers of specialty equine equipment and accessories and the addition of four new product lines available on JumpsWest.com.
Softstall is stall flooring that acts as a therapeutic bedding system for your horse. Like humans, horses need a good rest and require REM sleep which they can only achieve while lying down. This rest is essential for horse to rejuvenate body parts such as muscles, tendons and joints, as well as the mind. The only company in the world currently offering these products, the SoftStall system allows for comfortable lying down, while also saving money on bedding and time on cleanup. Purchase and installation costs are often recoverable within the first year of use, on avoided bedding and clean up costs alone - while the product has a proven usable life of up to ten years, giving years of convenience and cost savings to the owner, and years of comfort to the horse.
Softwall and Softstep offer the same therapeutic benefits on stall walls, trailer walls and walkways, designed to protect your horse and absorb the concussion of a powerful kick. See more info on the Softstall page. Jumps West distributes Softstall, Softwall, Softstep products throughout North America. If your horse could talk, he/she would be asking for this kind of bedding and cushioning.
The OnTyte Magnetic Stirrup System gives the rider more confidence, greater control and greatly reduces the possibility of losing stirrups. Approved by FEI for use in international competition, these magnetic stirrups were originally developed for those who return to riding after an injury-induced layoff to find that leg strength has deteriorated and stirrup loss becomes a frustrating problem. This product is ideal for advanced riders, beginners, polo, jumpers, students and competitors in all aspects of horse sports to maintain safe contact between rider's foot and stirrup, yet designed carefully not to hold too firmly as to disadvantage the rider. Ontyte is the only company in the world currently providing this unique product, and Jumps West is a national distributor. Many of the leading international riders are already using this system, and it is gaining acceptance in every riding disclipline, from Pony Club, to Hunter/Jumper, Polo, Roping, Grand Prix Showjumping, and more. See more info on the Ontyte page.
Centaur Horse Hot Walkers are the equine industry's leading training and exercising walkers. Available in models to accommodate 2, 4, 5 or 6 horses, the Hot Walker includes thermally protected motors and galvanized steel covers. It features one lead with protective covering and heavy duty swivel bull snap included and quick release mechanism for each arm. Shipped with a primered undercoat and finished in one of 20 enamel colors, the base is constructed of 1/4 inch thick angle iron driven by a double V-Belt drive (950 lbs. pull power). See more info on the Horse Walker page.

Jumps West is establishing retail sales locations on both the East and West Coast for the Number One Footing in the World, imported from Germany. We supply the same footing that will be used for the upcoming 2010 World Equestrian Games at the Kentucky Horse Park. First Quarter, 2009.
Using the imported German footing, Otto Sport–und Reitplatz GmbH developed a cutting edge riding surface with a combination of the Otto Base Mats and GGT- Footing Jumping.
The GGT-Footing + Base Mat combination provides the best possible drainage, non-slip properties and the ability to absorb shock in order to optimize the safety of horse and rider. The surface is designed to ensure that water can drain off quickly so the riding arena can be used even after persistent precipitation.
It has been tested at the highest levels of equestrian sport and proven itself for several years.
"In the end there is nothing more important in equestrian competition than the footing or ground on which the horses compete," noted Kate Jackson, Competition Director for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. "In selecting Otto Sport to provide the surface for the field of play and warm-up arenas, we are confident that the Kentucky Horse Park will provide the world-class footing so necessary for the successful conduct of the 2010 Games."

October 2008: Jumps West will be investigating product and business opportunities when we attend the 2008 China International Equestrian & Horse Industry Exhibition, the only dedicated professional Equestrian show in China and East Asia. This special event will take place at the Olympic Sports Arena in Beijing, China.
Visit the website: www.chinahorsefair.com.cn

Background Information
China International Equestrian & Horse Industry Exhibition (CHF) was held for the first time in 2007 and was a resounding success. It is the only dedicated professional Equestrian show in China and East Asia and was launched to provide an international meeting place for suppliers of equestrian equipment, products and services, to meet with professional and keen amateur buyers from across the region.
Indeed feedback from 2007 confirmed that leading trade buyers from across China welcomed this opportunity to meet with and view the latest products from top international and local suppliers and many new business relationships were forged during the show.
CHF08 has the unique support of China's most influential horse industry organizations including the Chinese Equestrian Association and the Chinease Horse Industry Association. Through their network of professional industry contacts, exhibitors can be sure that CHF 08 will be promoted to the country's most important buyers and specifiers who are keen to source and procure the latest products.

CHF08 will take place 1-3 November 2008 in Beijing which boasts the highest concentration of activity in this sector with nearly 200 leading equestrian centres already established and membership expected to grow by over 1000 per week. Taking place at one of the purpose built Olympic sports arenas and capitalising on the surge in domestic interest expected after the Games, the stage is set for a record breaking show where suppliers can increase their sales to this market of huge potential.

China is a market of the future! The country's economic miracle has given rise to increasing prosperity in many of the country's major cities which in turn is creating demand amongst their population for access to a greater diversity of high quality leisure and sports activities. The emergence of this increasingly affluent and expanding middle class is driving the growth in demand for international standard equestrian and horse related sports facilities. With no let-up in China's economic success, so the demand will continue to grow.
China has a deep rooted horse culture, a huge territory and population and a rapidly growing economy. Experts estimate the China equestrian, sport and leisure horse industry to be a potential market worth 100 billion RMB.

There are more than 200 professional equestrian clubs in China and this is expected to more than double by 2010. Beijing is the centre of the equestrian sports industry with many additional facilities being developed and planed for the near future e.g. equestrian clubs, horse stables, training centers etc.
The 2008 Beijing Olympics will stimulate increased participation in equestrian activities by the growing middle class.
Integrated manufacturing chain There are 600 equestrian manufacturers in 2007-2008 compared with 247 manufacturers in 2006-2007, up 142.9% by year – a clear response to a growing market!

We have responded by making available our entire line of regular hunter and jumper wood jumps for buyers wishing to obtain high quality products at a reduced rate.

Jumps West
was selected among all U.S. jump suppliers to provide on a very limited
timetable unique decorative themed equestrian products to the Barrett
family in Peyton, Colorado.
(excerpted
from equipment supplier, nationsrent.com): Billy Jack Barrett, manager
of the Air Force Academy Equestrian Center, and his wife Anne are known
for opening their hearts and home to difficult horses from across the
country. The success they have experienced in their equestrian business
has labeled them the true "Horse Whisperers" of our time.
At the same time, the couple has applied their talent and compassion
to troubled children, some of whom are deemed unmanageable and unadoptable
by the Colorado Department of Human Services (DHS). The Barrett's only
challenge to adopting more of these children is that their small, 101-year
old farmhouse could not fit any more by law. Anne Barrett took a chance
and sent in a letter to Extreme Makeover: Home Edition asking for a
new home and a possible new life for future children in need!

“Something is Possible”
February 10 – March 17, 2007
Jumps
West provided Art quality Gallery exhibition materials for this special
event. We supplied European designs in coordination with the Gallery
and the artist, who flew in from Europe for the Opening.
Opening Reception February 10, 5 – 7pm
Shoshana
Wayne Gallery is pleased to present its first exhibition of work by
mounir fatmi. mounir fatmi constructs visual spaces and linguistic games
that aim to free the viewer from their preconceptions of politics and
religion, and allow them to contemplate these and other subjects in
new ways. His videos, installations, drawings, paintings and sculptures
bring to light our doubts, fears and desires. They directly address
the current events of our world, and serve to both explicate the origins
and symptoms of global issues, as well as speak to those whose lives
are affected by specific events.
The exhibition
“Something is Possible”, gathers together a series of artworks
in diverse media that ask the viewer to search for hope within often
terrifying and difficult subjects. His
sculptural installations using massive amounts of antenna cable inherently
reference the transmission of information and the worldwide communications
network. His severing and rejoining of the cables hints at the underlying
media censorship, where gaps in information become gaps in public knowledge
and understanding. In a similar manner, his sculptures formed out of
VHS cassettes reference the bombardment of media through incessant duplication
and repetition. In the most overtly political work of the exhibition,
flags of each of the G8 countries, which act as visually symbolic icons
of the enormous power held by these nations, are relegated to mere adornments
atop push-brooms; both a tool of the common worker and a reminder of
those affected by the decisions of the group. mounir will also be exhibiting a new version of his installations using equestrian jumping bars; “obstacles”, both figurative and literal, which force the breakdown of pre-existent physical and psychological
barriers. The obstacles operate on many levels, at once speaking to
the distances between the Middle East and the West while simultaneously
touching on the similarities in origins of traditions shared by these
seemingly disparate nations and peoples. The traditional dichotomies
of good and bad, beautiful and ugly, are torn apart, disallowing us
to cast such narrow dispersions on complex topics. As a result, the
interpretive possibilities offered to the viewer are vastly multiplied.
mounir fatmi’s work has been exhibited in the Migros Museum für
Gegenwarskunst, Zürich, Switzerland, the Museum Kunst Palast, Düsseldorf,
Germany, Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris, France, and the Mori Art Museum
in Tokyo Japan. He also recently participated in the Gwangju Biennial,
Korea, and the Seville Biennial, Spain. In 2006 he was awarded the Grand
Prize at the 7th Dakar Biennial, and his work will be included in the
2007 Luanda Triennial in Angola.
mounir fatmi was born in Tangiers, Morocco, and lives and works between
Paris, France and Tangiers.

‘RENOVATE
MY FAMILY’
October, 2004
Jumps
West supplies new jumps, course design services for Hunter Arena for Fox
Reality Series:
" Renovate My Family" in Sugar Hill Georgia.
Renovate
My FamilyTM and © 2004 Fox and its related entities. All rights
reserved.
September 2004 - Jumps West was selected from over
thirty national competitors to design a new Hunter Course for Cotton
Creek Farm, in Sugar Hill Georgia. The Blankenship family, a local family
whose farm will be featured on the FOX new reality series, RENOVATE
MY FAMILY, lost their family home to a fire last spring.
Jumps
West, in partnership with expert course designer Ruthanna Bridges of
Bridges Training Stable will showcase their design and beautiful new
Hunter arena course which airs in early October, 2004. The focus of
the show is to give the family, which was devastated by a fire that
burned their home to the ground, a new lease on life with a whole new
house, personal appearance and lifestyle improvements, a renovated barn,
and a brand new jump arena.
The
new Hunter course includes all new PVC jumps with custom paint work
and the family's Cotton Creek logo, a seven jump (two oxer) course with
heights 2'3" to 2'6" designed for intermediate riders which
can be ridden either direction. Based upon input from Jumps West and
Ruthanna Bridges, the Fox team added all new grading, footing, fencing,
and landscaping
The
quality products we provided are designed to improve people's lives
and make their arena both more usable and enjoyable. For a humid climate
like Georgia's, PVC is ideally suited since it lasts longer and does
not need the constant repairs and maintenance of traditional wood. Plus,
with both boarders and students coming to the farm, PVC is much easier
to move around when setting up different schooling course configurations.
RENOVATE
MY FAMILY is produced by Rocket Science Laboratories, in association
with Fox TV.
